Fifth Hotline between CSRME and ARMA Presidents

On the morning of June 5, 2023, Beijing, Academician Manchao He, President of the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering (CSRME), and Dr. Gang Han, President of the American Rock Mechanics Association (ARMA) held the fifth meeting through hotline.
The two parties announced that they will continue to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between CSRME and ARMA .
President Manchao He introduced the latest progress of co-hosted journal "Rock Mechanics Bulletin" (RMB), the co-initiated "International Correlation Research Program of Cross-Fault Measurement for Earthquake Prediction" (ICRP-CFMFEP) and the co-organized conference CHINA ROCK 2023. And also, resident Manchao He discussed issues related to the ARMA 2023 Atlanta Annual Conference, International Geomechanics Symposium (IGS 2023), China Rock 2023 Annual Conference, issues of common concern regarding international rock mechanics, and further extensive cooperation.
President Manchao He pointed out the importance of holding the ARMA2023, IGS2023, and China Rock 2023 conferences, and emphasized that the aforesaid international conferences are the focus of the international department of CSRME of this year. The two parties shall sincerely cooperate through the comprehensive strategic partnership between CSRME and ARMA, coordinate and promote friendly cooperation in the next stage, and make greater contributions to promote the construction of a community in the field of rock mechanics and rock engineering towards a shared future for mankind.
