CSRME's Experts Chunhe Yang, Chunsheng Zhang and Zhenqi Hu Won the Third National Innovation Medals

On May 30, 2023, on the occasion of the 7th National Science and Technology Workers' Day, the 3rd National Innovation Medal Commendation Conference was held in Beijing. The Vice President of the Ninth Council of the CSRME, Academician Chunhe Yang from the Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Executive Director of the CSRME, Senior Engineer Chunsheng Zhang from Huadong Engineering Corporation Limited, Power Construction Corporation of China, Executive Director of the CSRME, and Professor Zhenqi Hu from China University of Mining and Technology won the 3rd National Innovation Medals. The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the PRC, the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the PRC, and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council jointly issued the "Decision on Commending the Winners of the Third National Innovation Medal". This year's National Innovation Medal recognizes outstanding scientific and technological professionals and teams who have made outstanding contributions to the cutting-edge science and technology, the main economic battlefield, the country's major needs, and people's life and health and social services. A total of 7 teams won the National Innovation Medal, 26 individuals won the National Innovation Medal, and 251 people won the National Innovation Excellence Certificate.
